My name is Kimberly Trapp. I am a humble servant of God, doing my best to live a life pleasing to my Savior.
I was born and raised in north Alabama. I relocated to Florida in November of 1990 with my parents when my Dad transferred to KSC with NASA. A couple of years later, I met the man I would marry. The two of us stayed in Florida for a few years while we started our family. His military career moved us to northern Virginia for the better part of the next fifteen years where we raised our three children. When our youngest graduated high school in 2018, we moved back to the area to live closer to family.

I have always considered myself incredibly compassionate, highly sensitive and very creative. I have discovered my best work comes to life when I paint from my heART, my feelings and emotions from a personal experience, meditation, or music, pour out onto the page. The world seems to disappear and my heART connects to the paintbrush, sending energy and love into my creation.

Inspired by my love of sunflowers and the friend I painted them for.
My heart overflows with love and care for creation and humanity. I create, write, and speak from my heART and I love hard. I am an artist, certified peer minister, spiritual director, and a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem.
I am physically disabled and it has presented me with many obstacles; but God isn’t done with me. In fact, I give thanks through my journey. I have grown so much over the past five years, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, I am better, stronger, and more authentic, in part, because of my pain.
I pray this space of sharing my life, my faith, and my heART leaves you feeling loved, inspired, and encouraged. All are welcome!
