I suspect that maybe it’s not just me that has “Days Like This”. For me it’s related to chronic pain and faith. Maybe there’s some heaviness or difficult circumstance in your life that will make this relatable.
I woke up this morning feeling anxious and a bit agitated. As I sat with my feelings I decided to treat myself to some art therapy. I love painting my feelings and more often than not the process of painting and then journaling will change my mindset.
So here it is, my morning #heARTwork therapy.
“Days Like This”
Life often brings me unwelcome guests,
sometimes it feels like the worst, and others, the best.
I can’t always understand the path God sees, yet if I focus on gratitude, I see the forrest, not just the trees.
There are days like this when the skies are angry and whining, I turn, give thanks, and there appears the silver lining.
The darkness parts and God makes a way,
the sun shines down with its life giving rays.
Life often brings unwelcome guests, sometimes it seems like the worst, when in truth, it’s whats best.
